The vacuum pressure relief valve is mainly used for releasing positive and negative pressure at the top of the warehouse, and can also be applied in other occasions with explosion-proof requirements. Vacuum pressure release valve, also known as ash silo release valve or ash silo vacuum release. The vacuum pressure relief valve is mainly installed on the top of the ash silo as a protective device. Protecting the ash storage tank from excessive positive and negative pressure during air intake and exhaust overpressure and abnormal temperature changes is an essential protective device for the ash storage tank.

Working principle:

The vacuum pressure relief valve consists of a flat cover, spring ring, movable ring, diaphragm, retaining ring spring, retaining ring, valve cover, valve seat, etc. When the valve is in a stationary position (sealed): When the pressure inside the storage bin or ash silo is maintained within the selected pressure value of the valve, the valve cover remains in a stationary position. Due to the pressure generated in the storage bin or ash silo, a force acts on the top surface of the flexible diaphragm, causing the diaphragm to tightly contact the valve seat, thereby achieving sealing.

When the valve pressure is released: When the pressure inside the storage or ash silo increases to the selected pressure value of the valve, the pressure inside the silo overcomes the weight of the valve seat cover and lifts the valve cover from the valve seat. At the same time, the pressure is released until the pressure inside the storage or ash silo drops to the same value as the pressure selected by the valve, and the valve cover returns to its normal position.

When the valve vacuum is released: When the pressure inside the storage or ash silo is lower than atmospheric pressure, a vacuum is generated inside the storage or ash silo. When the vacuum value drops to the vacuum value selected by the valve, due to the action of atmospheric pressure on the diaphragm, the empty ring is lifted to the floating position. At this time, air enters the storage or ash silo until the internal vacuum value is less than the selected value, and the vacuum ring returns to the normal position and leans against the diaphragm. The vacuum pressure relief valve is arranged at the top of the ash storage tank to protect the ash storage tank from excessive positive and negative pressure in case of overpressure and abnormal temperature changes in the inlet and exhaust of the ash storage tank. On the basis of the vacuum breaking valve, it has the function of emergency pressure release.

Valve installation:

1: The equipment is vertically installed on the connecting flange above the pipeline, and the flange is fixed according to the design.

2: The connection surface between the valve and the main flange must be directly equipped with a rubber sealing gasket, and the bolts must be tightened.

3: The installation direction of the valve (vertical), the suction port should be located in an easily accessible area, and there should be no obstructions on both sides.

4: Be sure to remove the dust cover of the valve during installation.
