What is the difference between A48Y safety valve and A47Y safety valve?
A48Y is a full-lift safety valve. The outlet is one to two gears larger than the inlet, and the diameter of the flow path is one gear smaller than the inlet. For example, the outlet of a DN40 A48 safety valve is generally 50MM, and some will be made into 65MM. The diameter of the runner is 32MM, and the opening height is 1/4 of the diameter of the runner. It is generally used for gas conditions.
A47Y is a slightly lifted safety valve. The inlet and outlet diameters are the same as the diameter of the flow channel. Compared with a DN40 safety valve, its outlet is also 40MM, the flow channel diameter is also 40MM, and the opening height of the safety valve is 1/20 to 1/ 40. Generally used in liquid conditions.
